Tips for getting ready for a competition

-if you are traveling on a a plane to a competition MAKE SURE YOUR ROUTINE SUIT AND BLACK BATHING SUIT IN YOUR CARRY ON BAGGAGE.
-make sure you follow the packing list that your coach gives you and if you feel something is missing email your coach.
-for a gel kit make sure you have extra of everything its always better to have more bobby pins etc.
-eat healthy and sleep before a meet
-bring snacks that are high in protein and fiber
-don't forget to land drill and visualize your figures and your routine it helps.

-make sure you bring lots of shampoo and conditioner for taking out your gel
-bring snacks and a lunch you can't always leave the pool
-bring a yoga mat and runners for warm up
-have a shower the morning of or the night before so your hair is nice and clean and easy to work with.
-don't forget makeup remover either makeup remover wipes or liquid makeup remover
-stretch before a meet
-make sure you leave early so you are on time
-wear team jacket, shirt and black short or leggings. (if you don't have it wear black)
Your ideal gel kit should have
-small hair elastics
-knox gelatin packages
-kettle or boiled hot water
-gel towel (old towel that can get dirty)
-Bun cover (if you have one)
-shampoo and conditioner (to get gel out)
Makeup kit essentials
-eye shadow palette
- WATERPROOF eyeliner
-blush brush, eyeshadow brush, eyeliner brush (for gel eyeliner)
